Sons Of The Forest

Sons Of The Forest uses several UDP ports and persists the server files under /serverdata. Swarm Hosts installs the dedicated server from Steam through SteamCMD during container startup.

Launch Notes

  1. Choose Sons Of The Forest.
  2. Use GAME_PARAMS only when you intentionally need extra launch flags.
  3. First boot installs or updates the Windows dedicated server files through SteamCMD.
  4. Server password and LAN-only behavior are usually adjusted in the generated dedicatedserver.cfg after first boot.

Connect

Players can join through the game's dedicated-server flow using the published host and primary UDP port.
